Posted on October 29, 2015 1 Comment
Last week I attended World Master Card Fashion week in Toronto, where Canadian designers unveiled their Spring/Summer 2016 collection. There were some standout collections, jaw dropping pieces and a mix of contemporary classics which I believe is true to Toronto’s evolving style. The highlights for me were Mikhael Kale, Sid Neigum, UNTTLD and Rachel Sin.

We’ve all seen those women wearing not so appropriate attire going to work and thinking to ourselves, What “office” does she work at dressed like that? As a Senior Manager at a large Canadian bank, I strongly believe that you dress for the job you want, not the job you have. Sure, if you do […]
My Lust List

A lust list is generally comprised of materialistic items that we swoon over and although we can’t currently afford it, it doesn’t hurt to admire from afar. These items aren’t necessary for our survival, but are totally necessary for that day we need to have dinner with the President, jet set to our yachts in […]

Winter Fashion Style Guide

Winter is officially here. We may have had a break over the holidays with some unseasonably warm weather, but if the last two weeks are any indication of what’s to come – brace yourself! Our first instinct is to bundle up or hibernate and our clothing choices tend to start resembling a cross between the Abominable Snowman […]
Birthday Style Watch – the 30th edition

I turned 30 this past week and celebrated this weekend with a surprise birthday dinner followed by drinks downtown. Since I didn’t know what was going on, I wanted an outfit that could go with the flow but still said birthday girl at the same time. For my 30th birthday, I wanted a look that was sophisticated yet […]
