BeautyCubed Motives Make Up Party
I recently hosted a Motives Make Up Party for family and friends. It was a lovely afternoon with hors d’oeuvres, champagne, old fashioneds (of course!) and an opportunity to get make up tips and play around with make up. It was an interactive and fun learning experience.
We kicked it off with a few intros and then were taken through a Motives Custom Blend Foundation workshop where they walked us through the customization process. Motives Custom Blend Foundation can be built to your liking and skin needs – medium to full coverage, your exact skin tone, dry or oily skin, amount of sunscreen and there’s even an option to add botox! Motives has an entire custom blend line – from foundation, to powder, to bronzer to blush. They then put together a sample foundation for the model of the day and applied it so we could see the final product.
The custom blend foundation workshop was then followed by a contour tutorial. Each guest was handed out a face chart to take notes, while a live demo was done on the model. After the contour tutorial, guests were then invited to have one on one consultations and quick tutorials with other make up artists, play around with make up and shop at their leisure. Guests enjoyed discounted prices and saved on shipping costs when buying products at the party instead of ordering online. Additionally, anyone who spent more than $30 that day, were entered into a draw to get a free make up party application from Seher Studio – I trust her with all my make up needs! There’s perks for the host/hostess too! Host gets exclusive pricing at distributor cost! It was a fun and glamorous afternoon enjoyed by all – make up beginners and enthusiasts alike.
